A separate hands-on session
The briefing announces a free, in-person secure-coding workshop with a corporate software vendor for the day after the orientation. It is open to registered university undergraduates, including students from outside the host university. Due to campus security rules, it is not open to members of the public or high-school students. Prepare before attending
Places are limited, so the organizers ask eligible students to register promptly. Attendees should bring a laptop fully charged and their own power strip because campus power supplies may be limited. Registration and equipment guidance is covered in the session.
