[CryptX 2.0 Designathon Workshop I: Designing for Impact](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S65lzQ6s5ig)

This 1 hour, 22 minute workshop connects product design to changes in real user behavior. The speaker draws on product work at global scale, then guides participants through a short design exercise: find a specific point of friction, frame a measurable hypothesis, and sketch several small ways to address it.

## In this workshop

- **Start with people and problems.** Design is more than polished screens; it shapes how people understand and use a product.
- **Make a testable hypothesis.** Name the people, the behavior you want to affect, and the measure that would show progress.
- **Change one thing at a time.** Small experiments make it easier to learn what caused a result.
- **Generate several options.** Use a short sketching exercise to explore alternatives before settling on one solution.

## Session context

The workshop was organized for participants in the CryptX 2.0 Designathon. The speaker describes product design work across local and global contexts and shares examples of testing design ideas with evidence. The practical exercise uses a shared board, but you can follow the same steps with paper and a pen.
