## Publish your branch

After making and committing a local change, push the branch to your fork on the hosting platform. This publishes the branch so other contributors can access it. [The workshop's publishing demonstration](https://youtu.be/fRzFBDPsmEI?t=4250) connects the local workflow to the hosted repository.

## Ask for a review with a pull request

Open a pull request to propose merging your branch into the original project. A pull request gives maintainers a place to inspect the changes, discuss them, and decide whether they are ready to merge. The session shows how to open a pull request and copy its link for submission at [1:10:50](https://youtu.be/fRzFBDPsmEI?t=4250).
