## Before the workshop

Complete the [prerequisites guide](/docs/en/workshops/first-byte-episode-1/prerequisites) so Git, Bun, your editor, and your GitHub account are ready. You do not need previous Git experience.

## Start the activity

At the workshop, clone the [Git Mystery activity repository](https://github.com/universitysjp/git-mystery) and follow its README to open the slides and progress board. You will create a separate repository in your own GitHub account for your work.

The activity uses case files and repository history to make each step useful. You will discover the findings from the evidence yourself; this guide and the slides do not reveal the clues or conclusion.
