description: 'Branching with if/else and switch, looping with while, do-while, and for in C.'

Branch with `if/else` and `switch`, loop with `while`, `do-while`, and `for`.

## Examples

### Guess the Number (`guess_number.c`)

Demonstrates `if`, `else if`, and `else` branching:

```c
#include <stdio.h>
int main(void) {
    const int secret = 7;
    int guess;
    printf("Guess the number (between 1 and 10): ");
    scanf("%d", &guess);
    if (guess == secret) {
        printf("Correct!\n");
    } else if (guess < secret) {
        printf("Too small!\n");
    } else {
        printf("Too big!\n");
    }
    return 0;
}
```

### Multiplication Table (`multiplication_table.c`)

Demonstrates the `for` loop to iterate a fixed number of times:

```c
#include <stdio.h>
int main(void) {
    int n;
    printf("Enter a number: ");
    scanf("%d", &n);
    for (int i = 1; i <= 10; i++) {
        printf("%d x %d = %d\n", n, i, n * i);
    }
    return 0;
}
```
